Demand the Exoneration of Daystar Peterson in Los Angeles Case BA490599

Demand the Exoneration of Daystar Peterson in Los Angeles Case BA490599
The Issue
Daystar Peterson, a man who I believe has been wrongfully accused and convicted, needs our collective voice to seek justice. I personally observed his accuser, Megan Pete, give what I believe were misrepresentative statements to CBS Mornings journalist Gayle King prior to his trial, contradicting the nature of their relationship. She went on to describe a confounding scene where Peterson allegedly fired a 9mm over the window of his vehicle. This account, however, walks against the laws of physics given the seating arrangement of Peterson and others in the vehicle.
His trial, held from December 12-23, 2022, in Los Angeles Superior Court under Judge David Herriford (case # BA490599), was marred by inconsistencies. This was especially evident when a forensic specialist's DNA analysis for Peterson's trial failed to produce evidence that he had even touched the gun or the magazine, creating a paradox in the narrative Pete so emphatically shared. Furthermore, the witness, Sean Kelly, reported a physical altercation between two women at the scene, providing evidence that it was one of them who fired the gun before Peterson exited his vehicle.
The combination of these evidences suggests a potential miscarriage of justice in Peterson's trial. Therefore, we are asking for another look at the case, considering the new information and testimonies at hand. Please lend your signature to this petition to call for the exoneration of Daystar Peterson, and let us stand behind justice even when it is difficult. Let justice be served, and truth be upheld. Sign this petition and support us in our quest for fairness and justice for Daystar Peterson.
