Demand the elimination of the rotten stench in/around Amelia Concourse, Nassau County, FL

The Issue

Demand Nassau County leaders create and enforce standards to eliminate the foul stench emanating from the wastewater treatment facility south-west of the Amelia Concourse and SR200 intersection in Nassau County, FL (behind Journey church)

**UPDATE** It is confirmed from the Rayonier Advanced Materials Sludge and Fly Ash Dump***

This horrible smell is likely coming from the mismanagement or over use of the RYAM Sludge Dump facility. Leaders should implement requirements for the managers of this facility to adhere to Odor Thereshold Values (OTV) or Threshold Odor Numbers (TON) such that the odor is undetectable to the average human nose at the smallest radius that intersects the closest residential area or other venue in which attendees would reasonably expect there to be no scent.

They should create and enforce these standards so that residents in the many local area subdivisions are not impacted by this careless lack of oversight. A few of these impacts could be an inability to comfortably enjoy the outdoor portion of their property or a reduced property value due to the foul stench.

If you live, shop or work in the areas impacted by this smell and want to stop it, please sign this petition!
