Starting in 2023, the city of Solon under the leadership of Mayor Ed Kraus has been hosting an “Annual Solon Pride Day” event every June. These events are organized using public city resources and funding, making it an issue that concerns the entire community.  

Past events have included male strippers, including from openly Satanist “drag queen” groups. However, We The People Of Solon find it very sexist that only male strippers are invited to these “Pride Day” events, taking all the jobs away from hard working female strippers who are struggling to get by.

Being that Solon is a city that prides itself on the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, it is therefore imperative that female strippers are included for sake of ensuring that the celebration of sex using public resources is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. 

In order to uphold the values of feminism, it is therefore imperative that the strippers who are invited to dance provocatively in front of families at these “Pride Day” events are female, preferably from Crazy Horse.
