We, the undersigned residents of United State, call for your immediate resignation from your position due to your support of the SB147. This bill is a blatant violation of the basic human rights and dignity of individuals based on their race, ethnicity, cultural and national origin background, but also goes against the principles of equality, freedom, and justice that our country stands for.

Your support of this bill sends a message that discrimination and prejudice are acceptable and that you do not uphold the values of equality, justice, and respect for all people. This is unacceptable for someone holding a position of leadership and responsibility in our community.

The winter freeze of 2021 was a catastrophic event that exposed the fragility of Texas' energy and infrastructure systems, leaving millions of Texans without power, heat, and water for days on end. Your administration was slow to respond to the crisis, and many families suffered as a result. Your lack of preparation and leadership during this emergency has left a lasting impact on our communities, and we believe that you are no longer fit to govern.

We demand that you step down immediately and let someone who truly represents the values of our community take your place. We cannot tolerate leaders who support legislation that discriminates against members of our society and violates their human rights.
