Hello Everyone! I wanted to provide a brief update on this petition and where things stand from a legal perspective with the councilwoman, and her blatant disregard for laws, statutes, policies, and procedures when it comes to ethical elections.

Since I last updated you all, I am still striking out with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and any hopes of their office electing to press charges against Aly Cline for her wrongdoing surrounding the sign removal, and this is even after I have provided the full report outside counsel provided to the city when requested to investigate into the allegations against Cline.

This leaves us with fewer options, but the next logical course of action would be to submit complaints to the Attorney General of Arizona, as that office has jurisdiction over election laws, including the claims substantiated against Cline by Pierce Coleman PLLC (outside counsel).

I have submitted a complaint myself, but like the adage says ... "squeaky wheel gets the oil." I strongly encourage those of you who have signed this petition and want there to be true consequences for her actions and for Cline to finally take some level of accountability for her choices to willingly break election laws in our state.
