Every day, countless individuals are exposed to explicit content on websites like Pornhub and MindGeek. This exposure can lead to harmful consequences, such as addiction in men, objectification of women, and inappropriate exposure for children. According to a study by the Journal of Adolescent Health (2016), early exposure to pornography can lead to negative attitudes towards relationships and sexual health among adolescents. Furthermore, the National Center for Biotechnology Information (2019) reports that excessive consumption of pornography can potentially lead to addictive behavior in adults.

These platforms currently operate with minimal regulation or oversight. This lack of control enables them not only to profit from explicit content but also potentially contribute indirectly towards societal issues such as addiction, objectification of women, and child exploitation.

MindGeek has been under fire from the US Government over sex trafficking and had to pay up to 1 million dollars in fines to be government. Mastercard and Visa have also suspended their services with MindGeek and Pornhub.

We call upon lawmakers worldwide to impose stricter regulations on these platforms. By doing so we can protect our children from premature exposure, help those struggling with addiction find support instead of temptation online, and promote a healthier perspective towards women in society. Also making Pornhub and MindGeek responsible for the affects of children mental health, children’s safety, men’s addiction to pornography and women who’ve been abused and victimized by Pornhub, MindGeek and the porn stars in the video.

Aylo (MindGeek) has banned states Montana and North Carolina for Age-verification after law makers in both states made it difficult for you to verify your identity (needing more than ID or photo verification). I count on more people and states to do the same and fight against Aylo (MindGeek)
