Millions of Android users all around the world feel neglected when they have restricted access to their smartphones' features while driving their Ram vehicles. It is evident that Ram has provided support for Apple CarPlay users for its 12-inch Uconnect 5 display, enabling a full-screen experience. This same consideration has not been extended to Android Auto users despite Android holding a 72% global market share in mobile operating systems (Statista, 2021). As a result, Android users are unable to fully utilize their smartphones' capabilities, placing them at a disadvantage when compared to Apple users. We urge Ram to rectify this inequality by enabling full-screen Android Auto support on their Uconnect 5 12" displays for all present and future clients. By doing so, Ram can ensure that all their customers, regardless of the mobile operating system they prefer, receive fair and equal treatment. Everyone deserves to enjoy the same experience. Therefore, we implore you to sign this petition and support our call for Ram to update their Uconnect 5 system.
