THE BARRIER IS GONE

On the 13th of March 2024 it was announced that the Westoe barrier would be removed. Later that day the barrier was taken away for good! 

On the 14th of March 2024 Cllr Ann Best presented the petition to full council! Council will now look at alternative measures to make St George’s Ave safe. 

We will now wait for council to decide what new measures will be put in place.
