Hello Everyone,

I am pleased to say that the petition has been approved by South Tyneside Council and will therefore appear on the agenda of the next full borough council meeting on the 14th of March 2024. 

I am also delighted to say that the petition will be read on our behalf by the wonderful Westoe ward Cllr Ann Best. 

We encourage and invite everyone to come to the meeting and see the petition be read out and OUR voices heard. The more of us that show up and stand united the better. 

The meeting will take place at 18:00 at the Town Hall in South Shields. You can enter via the side door on Beach Road! If you require disabled access contact the town hall for information. 

We are one step closer to the barrier being removed! WE CAN DO THIS!!!
