At the start of the April General Meeting today, Sakura-Con announced that they have a new Accessibility webpage!

Here's a direct link:

https://sakuracon.org/accessibility/

How to get there manually:

  1. Visit sakuracon.org.
  2. Navigate to the 'About us' page either using the hamburger menu or clicking its button below the header.
  3. Click the tab for 'Accessibility' below the page title for 'About us'.

Alternatively, a user can click into the search box at the top right of the website and search for 'accessibility'. The top two results will be the new Accessibility webpage.

Our team of advocates are problem-solvers and are very reasonable people. We have stated that if Sakura-Con listened to the demands of our petition or simply communicated with more transparency on which of the demands they are already working on, we would rejoice and sing praises across the internet so that everyone knows.

So we're rejoicing--today is a day of celebration!

Please join us by telling everyone you know that Sakura-Con has a page on Accessibility now ahead of its 2025 event which is also ahead of its membership sales for 2026. This will be very helpful to anyone who will have needed that information for this year's event and prior to purchasing a membership.

Thank you to the Sakura-Con Board and its volunteers for doing the right thing!
