Today, we celebrate a resounding victory. Liz Magill has resigned as President of the University of Pennsylvania. Our petition, with its record-breaking 26,638 signatures, far exceeding the number of students at Penn, served as a powerful catalyst for change. Our voices resonated not only within the Penn community but also across the nation, with coverage in major news outlets like the BBC, Washington Post, Al Jazeera, The Inquirer, Daily Mail, Daily Pennsylvanian, Time, and New York Times. This is a clear testament to the power of collective action. We stood united against antisemitism and demanded a safe and inclusive environment for ALL. Today, our voices were heard, and our message was undeniable and clear. This is only the first step in our fight against antisemitism on campus and in our society. We must continue to hold universities accountable for fostering inclusive environments free from discrimination. We must remain vigilant and demand meaningful change. Never again is now. Let this victory be a beacon of hope and a reminder that our voices have the power to create a more just and equitable world. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition, raised their voices, and played a role in this historic moment. Together, we are making a difference.
