There are over 350k people living in Newham. If only a quarter have people visit them in their car, that is over 80k. I only have just over 200 hundred signatures. I really need more support and signatures for the Council to even  consider seeing me to convince them to overturn their decision to allow us to use up all our current bought visitor permits in a more reasonable time. 

As of the 1st of April 2024, any digital permits you have on the MIPERMIT App will no longer be valid and will dissapear and the money you paid for them will not be refunded. Newham has made a lot of money out of this. It happened 2 years ago with the yellow paper permits becoming no longer valid and we never got refunded for unused permits. 

They are doing it again.

When the digital visitor permits first became available to buy, you could only buy in bulk of 10x6hr or 5x12hr/24hr. They did not have an expiry date. Now we have been given less that a couple of month's notice to use them or loose them. 

This notice is only displayed on their MI Permit website and no notice was sent to all by email which is the process if something changes. Newham did not do all they could do, to reasonably inform people of the change and also give a reasonable amount of time to use permits.
