I paid for a Coursera course, expecting to enhance my skills and advance my career. Instead, I found myself caught in a frustrating loop of ineffective customer service, leaving me feeling scammed and let down by an impersonal AI system.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Coursera’s support team, all I received was generic responses that did not address my specific issue. It seemed like I was talking to a wall, not a service that prides itself on providing quality education. It is incredibly disappointing to invest in a learning platform, only to be left in the lurch with no resolution in sight. I have contacted their investor email, costumer service email, registered for a complaint under the consumer helpline and threatened to sue as well.
I am not alone in this. Numerous others have voiced similar grievances online, highlighting a pattern of inadequate support and lack of accountability. Coursera needs to ensure that their customer service is capable of addressing issues effectively and efficiently instead of leaving their users frustrated and helpless. This is not merely a dissatisfaction with the service but a plea for justice and fairness in the transactions we enter into.
The solution is clear: Coursera must either process refunds promptly for those who request them or enroll users in the courses they have paid for. There must be a transparent and reliable system to handle customer grievances, supervised by competent human representatives rather than automated responses.
