The white flue pipe had been in a vertical position for at least 8 years.

Sure Serve Compliance, on instruction by Raven Housing Trust removed the white.flue pipe and replaced it with the longer black flue pipe which was then angled across the bottom of the nest site entry.

We approached Raven Housing Trust and they sent a cut and paste email of safety regulations, but did not address our assertion: that this pipe is far longer than the previous pipe and if it were vertical, looks to be able to achieve the required legal distance from the window.
