Hi Supporters,
First, we continue to be humbled by each of you supporting #JusticeForJanies and this petition. As you are most likely aware of, in a special board meeting of Prosper ISD Trustees, they voted on and announced a 3rd-party investigation firm. Unfortunately, two Trustees, Mr. Beavers and Mr. Dial, voted against it and didn’t truly articulate why, therefore, they must go.
Secondly, if you watched the discussion, it is NOT clear what the scope of the investigation is and we need to understand what it is to ensure the investigation is comprehensive and will lead where ever it goes to learn from this and anything else discovered as a part of the investigation.
We continue to ask that you share this petition and encourage others to sign on, as each signature sends each Trustee an email.
We also encourage you to attend the Board meetings and let your presence and voice be heard every 3rd Monday on the month at 7 PM unless they change the time. When you speak, we also encourage you to stay passionate, but be respectful and share your thoughts, feedback, actions you desire to occur, and to also stay on topic of #JusticeForJanies and #SupportGarrett. The Board hopes this “blows over” and that it just goes away. We must NOT let it go away until we see change and accountability.
There is also a Mom’s of Rucker Rally Monday at 1 PM @ 400 S. Preston Road. We know not everyone can attend, but we strongly encourage you to attend or at least drive by and show support by honking! See FB link to event.
The parents and voters across political spectrum are UNITED on this issue! We must remain so, as the establishment, small differences of opinion, and the world broadly will attack the unity we all share!
We implore and pray that this unity not only stays, but strengthens, as when We the People, come together and demand of our elected officials and stay persistent in our messaging and unity, we will win!
Again, we are humbled by your show of support for #JusticeForJanies, remind you to show up at the Board meeting on Monday, come to the rally on Monday, and stay in prayer for our educators, our students, our community, as well as, the known and unknown victims and their families!
