I've been a frequent user of Hemel leisure centre and can personally attest to the continuous problems we face with maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming facilities, particularly the broken showers that leave us and our children shivering and covered in chlorine. It's disturbing to see such a valuable community asset being neglected.

Like myself, many other parents and users have persistently complained about these conditions, only to be met with inaction. We are tired of complaining to no avail. Prices keep increasing and it's high time we take the problem into our hands and make our voices heard.

This isn't just about hot showers after swimming; it's about our community's well-being and the clear message that the leisure centre management's ignorance sends. Ignoring the complaints signifies a lack of respect for the community and a disregard for our health and comfort. We deserve better.

Therefore, we call for the immediate repair and proper maintenance of the showers in our local leisure centre and improved management in handling complaints. It is a fair expectation from a facility that serves our community, a place where we spend time with our families, and a place where children learn and play.
