Petition to President Donald J. Trump: Declare Election Fraud a National Security Threat & Ban "No Excuse" Mail-In Ballots

To President Donald J. Trump:

We, the undersigned, urge you to sign an Executive Order declaring election fraud in the United States a National Security Threat and to immediately ban the practice of "no excuse" vote-by-mail mail-in ballots to ensure the integrity of our elections.

The dangers of mail-in voting have been recognized for years, including by the 2005 bipartisan Commission on Federal Election Reform, led by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker III, in its report Building Confidence in U.S. Elections. This study, conducted by the Center for Democracy and Election Management at American University, explicitly warned about the risks of mail-in voting, stating:

📌 “Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.” (Page 44)

📌 “Vote buying schemes are far more difficult to detect when citizens vote by mail.” (Page 55)

Mail-in ballots increase the risks of ballot harvesting, coercion, and fraudulent manipulation of votes, compromising the fundamental principle of free and fair elections. In-person voting with voter ID requirements is the most secure way to conduct elections, ensuring that every legal vote counts while preventing illegal activity.

We call upon you, President Trump, to take decisive action:

1. Declare election fraud a National Security Threat and direct federal agencies to investigate vulnerabilities in mail-in voting.

2. Ban "no excuse" vote-by-mail at the federal level and encourage states to adopt in-person voting with secure absentee ballot measures only for military personnel and those with verified disabilities.

3. Launch a nationwide election security initiative to ensure voter ID laws, chain-of-custody protections, and in-person voting safeguards are implemented across all states.

The American people deserve elections that are transparent, secure, and free from fraud. We must act now to restore confidence in our democratic process and uphold the integrity of our nation's elections.
