This week, our campaign to stop Petland’s rabbit sales took a big step forward.
The Rabbit.org Foundation and the Stop Rabbit Sales Coalition — representing more than 100 rescues, shelters, and animal advocates across the U.S. — just issued a national press release calling on Petland to end its sale of rabbits.
The release has already been picked up by more than 140 news outlets nationwide, helping shine a national spotlight on what rescues have been seeing for years: rabbits sold too young, without proper care, and later abandoned or surrendered to already-overburdened shelters.
