Dear supporters,
I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to share the final, bad news regarding our campaign.
Despite our best efforts—and despite Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders voting to reject David Zaslav’s massive $800M+ "golden parachute" exit package—the ultimate goal of our petition has failed. 

As of today, April 23, 2026, WBD shareholders have voted to approve the $110 billion merger with Paramount-Skydance.

While investors sent a clear message by opposing executive compensation, they overwhelmingly backed the sale itself, allowing this massive consolidation to move forward. 

Because this vote represents the final, major corporate hurdle, and because the boards of both companies have approved it, our petition to stop the deal can no longer affect the outcome. Therefore, I am closing this petition today.

I feel it is time to face the reality that we failed to stop this merger, and we must accept that this chapter of Warner Bros. Discovery and its independence is over.

Thank you to everyone who signed, shared, and raised their voice. We fought a hard battle against immense financial pressure, and while I am heartbroken to give up, I do not want to continue a campaign that has no path to victory.
