We have secured a meeting with the NSW Teachers Federation after the NSW Department of Education provided false advice to the Minister, breached the WHS Act in not consulting with staff before deciding not to support the availability of LifeVac in NSW schools, and failing to protect students and teachers. No teacher in NSW should be placed in a position of watching a student die in front of them when the solution is available but their own Department insists they don't save a life.
