As a mother of three children who regularly partake in lessons at the Spa in Beckenham, I have experienced firsthand the growing issue of frequent lesson cancellations by Mytime Active, and now from the 1st October 2024 instead of offering a straight refund for this service interruption, they will simply retain our funds for use at their centre.

While this may seem like a fair trade-off, the truth is, reallocating already paid funds for unrelated services is not a suitable resolution for most families, including mine. The financial implications are far-reaching, adding unnecessary strain on family budgets.

Despite Mytime Active's justification, holding onto consumers' money without providing the promised service goes against the concept of fair trading practices. This setback from the management of Mytime Active greatly affects families in Bromley, UK. It is high time to voice our concerns, ask for a more reasonable approach towards service delivery and demand refunds for the service that we paid for.
