This petition is open to all Canadian citizens.

This petition builds upon a previously completed civic campaign that focused on the Markham–Unionville federal riding. That earlier campaign addressed concerns arising from a local electoral mandate. Throughout that process, MP Michael Ma and Chris d'Entremont's cases became increasingly clear that the issue identified was not limited to a single riding or an individual case.
