The Issue

On September 20, 2026, Darius tragically lost his life in a homicide after being run over with a vehicle driven by his ex girlfriend.  After he laid injured and unconscious in the middle of the street she  left the scene,  drove 2 blocks, and did a u turn. I believe that is premeditattion.  His death has left behind heartbreak, grief, and loved ones who must now face the painful reality of life without him. No family should have to endure the devastating loss of someone they love under these circumstances, and no Mother should have to fight so hard for justice.  Darius's life mattered, his future mattered, and his memory deserves to live on. His ex girlfriend has been charged with homicide with the use of a vehicle while under the influence. We are calling on prosecutors and the court to pursue justice for Darius and upgrade the charges the first degree murder. We want the maximum sentence permitted by law if she is convicted.
A life has been lost, and the consequences are permanent. No sentence can bring Darius back or erase the pain his loved ones are experiencing. However, accountability matters. When a person's actions allegedly result in the loss of another person's life, the seriousness of the offense and the devastating impact on the victim's loved ones deserve careful consideration throughout the legal process.
Allen deserves justice. His life should not be forgotten, and his loved ones deserve to have their voices heard.
WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT
1. Demand the Maximum Sentence Permitted by Law
We are urging prosecutors to seek the maximum sentence allowed by law if she is convicted. We believe the circumstances surrounding Allen's death and the irreversible loss of his life deserve the strongest lawful response.
2. Demand Accountability
A life lost can never be restored. We ask that the legal process fully examine the circumstances surrounding Allen's death and that any sentence imposed reflect the seriousness of the offense, the evidence presented, and the applicable law.
3. Stand With Allen's Loved Ones
Losing someone to a fatal incident involving a vehicle is devastating, especially when an impaired driver is alleged to have been involved. Families and friends are left to navigate grief and the absence of someone who can never be replaced.
By signing this petition, you can show Allen's loved ones that they are not alone and that their community stands with them in seeking justice.
4. Keep Allen's Memory Alive
Darius is more than a name in a criminal case. He was a person whose life had value, whose future mattered, and whose absence leaves a lasting impact.
His life deserves to be remembered, and his loved ones deserve compassion, support, and the opportunity to see accountability pursued through the justice system.
OUR PLEA FOR JUSTICE
We understand that no petition can bring Darius back. No number of signatures can undo this tragedy or take away the pain of losing him.
But we can stand together.
We can raise our voices, support Allen's loved ones, and call for accountability. We can ask prosecutors to pursue 1st degree murder and request the maximum sentence permitted by law if a conviction is secured.
We respectfully urge the prosecution and the court to consider the profound and permanent consequences of Darius's  death and the impact this loss has had on those who knew and loved him.
We want justice for Darius. We want accountability. We want his life and the circumstances surrounding his death to matter throughout this legal process.
Please sign and share this petition to help raise awareness and show your support for Allen and his loved ones.
Every signature represents a voice calling for justice. Every share helps keep Allen's memory alive. Every expression of support reminds his loved ones that their grief has not gone unnoticed.
