"२६ जानेवारी रोजी, नरपड, तालुका डहाणू, जिल्हा पालघर, महाराष्ट्र येथे एक हृदयद्रावक घटना घडली. एका ७ वर्षांच्या निरागस मुलीला ६० वर्षांच्या माणसाच्या अमानवी कृत्यांचा बळी पडली. ही याचिका वैयक्तिक आहे कारण ही लहान मुलगी, जी खेळायला आणि शिकायला हवी होती, तिला क्रूर आणि अकल्पनीय गुन्ह्याचा सामना करावा लागला. आम्ही या मुलीच्या, तिच्या कुटुंबाच्या आणि या घटनेने हादरलेल्या संपूर्ण समुदायाच्या पाठीशी उभे आहोत.

आम्ही डहाणू बंदला समर्थन देतो, जो राग आणि दुःखाचा सामूहिक प्रदर्शन आहे, न्यायाची तातडीची गरज अधोरेखित करणारा आहे. शोक करणे आवश्यक आहे, परंतु कृती तितकीच महत्त्वाची आहे. या याचिकेद्वारे, आम्ही 'पुरे' म्हणतो – अत्याचार पुरे, शांतता पुरे. आम्ही भारतातील न्यायिक अधिकारी आणि कायदा अंमलबजावणी अधिकाऱ्यांना न्याय लवकर आणि कठोरपणे मिळवून देण्याचे आवाहन करतो.

On 26th January, in Narpad, Taluka Dahanu, District Palghar, Maharashtra, a heartbreaking incident occurred. A 7-year-old innocent girl fell prey to the inhuman acts of a 60-year-old man. This petition is personal because this young girl, who should have been playing and learning, was subjected to a cruel and unfathomable crime. We stand with this child, her family, and the entire community that has been shaken by this incident. 
The incident is a stark reminder of the vulnerability of our children and the necessity for stronger child protection measures. As reported by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), an average of 109 children were sexually abused each day in India in 2018. It is high time we raise our voices against each and every crime targeted at our children. 
We support the Dahanu bandh, a collective display of anger and grief, underlining the immediate need for justice. While mourning is necessary, action is as important. Through this petition, we say 'enough' – enough of the atrocities, enough of the silence. We call upon the judicial authorities and law enforcement officials of India to ensure that justice is served swiftly and sternly.
