The issue at hand is deeply personal to me – my mother, an immigrant worker, became a daily victim of mockery and bullying at the hands of a co-worker at the dental clinic she was working at. My mother, bearing the brunt of such contemptible behavior, found no respite or support from her employer. The torment was so unbearable it eventually led to her resignation.

However, we fear that this abusive employee will continue to harass other vulnerable workers. Therefore, we call for her immediate removal from the clinic to ensure a safe and respectful work environment for everyone.

Unfortunately, my mother's experience is not an isolated incident. According to a study by the Migrant Rights Center in 2019, as much as 32% of migrant workers face workplace harassment, highlighting the urgent need to address such abusive behaviors.
