As fervent supporters and grateful citizens of the Philippines, we demand justice for Former President Rodrigo Duterte, who has been unduly pursued by the International Criminal Court (ICC). During his term, Duterte instilled a sense of safety and security amongst us, actively counteracting the severe drug predicament our nation was facing.

It's estimated that our country had approximately 4 million drug addicts during Duterte's term. This was more than just a crisis; it was a daily threat to our wellbeing. However, under his steadfast and undaunted leadership, we saw a significant decline in drug-related crimes. Duterte's administration was dedicated to chasing criminals and drug addicts, holding them accountable for their infractions, not without due process but with a fervour never seen before.

Despite the ongoing criticism, it should be explicitly clear that Duterte did not advocate for vigilante justice. He never promoted extrajudicial killings but rather demanded these offenders be caught and bought before the law. Contrary to popular belief and inaccurate reports, he actively pursued a solution to the drug crisis, not perpetuated it.

This petition is personal; it is a call to recognize the efforts made by Duterte to restore peace in our homeland. We, the Filipino people who have benefited from his endeavours, ask for a fair and impartial reevaluation of the charges against him.
