Hank, Papa, and Bruce all came from the former Twist of Fate property and were starved nearly to death by Ashley DiFelice.

Bruce (middle, formerly named Gunther) was found running loose in a residential area for months in the fall and winter of 2021 and people in the neighborhood had made several attempts to catch him. After someone was finally successful Ashley was called and went to pick him up. Gunther was found locked in a barn and was sharing a stall with Billy the goat, who was mentioned in a previous update*. Sadly Billy did not survive and Bruce was forced to continue to live next to his body.
Norman the sheep (mentioned in the original petition and originally named Reggie) and Hank the goat shared the stall next to Bruce. All of the other animals in that barn perished, and these three were the only survivors. Norman passed away about a month after he was rescued since his body couldn't recover from Ashley's neglect.
Hank (right, formerly known as Beard) was failed by humans his whole life. He was rescued in 2021 along with 26 other goats from a different failed sanctuary and went to live with 2 of his friends* at Twist of Fate. There he was locked in a barn without food, water, or sunlight for months, maybe even since a short time after he was rescued. Along with Reggie (Norman) and Gunther (Bruce), he watched all of his other goat and sheep friends in that barn slowly wither and die.
Papa (left, formerly named Stinky Barlow) was found in a barren field with other animals and was living among the remains of his friends. They had already eaten all of the vegetation in the field and were in the process of starving to death at the time of their rescue. Stinky Barlow was originally being used for breeding purposes before being taken in by Ashley - he was formerly mated with a goat named Maybel, who had 4 babies named Benny, Ralphie, Truffle, and Scout. He also fathered 2 babies with a goat named Ivy. Back when these goats were originally rescued in 2019, Maybel went to live at Goats of Anarchy and had her babies some time later and Stinky Barlow (Papa), Ivy, and her babies Nala and Simba* went to live at Twist of Fate.
These 3 survivors (along with Reggie/Norman and a sheep named Linus, formerly Zebra*) were all taken in by Goats of Anarchy (@goatsofanarchy) last July when the cruelty was discovered and TOF closed down. They were renamed Bruce, Papa, and Hank. Hank and Bruce lost their barn mate and friend Norman in August of 2022 and while all three goats were skinny and malnourished, Hank struggled the most to put weight on after being neglected and starved for so long. Eventually all 3 began to thrive, and Hank was even reunited with an old friend at Goats of Anarchy named Larry after spending 2 years apart. Even after all that time they remembered each other!
After his quarantine period Papa was also reunited with his old "girlfriend" Maybel (it's unclear whether this was forced breeding or a natural conception) and finally got to meet his children, affectionately known as the "Babybels". Papa was a little overwhelmed by this introduction at first but gradually settled in.
Hank & Papa are older goats and Bruce is younger, but these three boys are finally safe and will never know anything but love. They have and will continue to receive the best care. They have access to fields to run around in, sunshine, fresh air, a pond to relax by, and fresh hay. They love popsicles and watermelon and have numerous new friends. They went through so much being starved, neglected, locked up, and watching all of their friends slowly perish, but they can move forward thanks to Goats of Anarchy.
