It was posted and shared on April 11th that Keith Garner proposed to his girlfriend Ashley DiFelice and that they're now engaged.
Meanwhile, people are still cleaning up bones from the animals that she neglected and starved to death and are still trying to repair and clean up the home and property that she left in filth and deplorable conditions. But it seems that they have chosen to literally ignore all of that and to actually celebrate life instead, as if none of that even happened.
This was a very public engagement, with the whole thing even showing up on the Jumbotron at the Philadelphia Phillies baseball game (which costs $450, by the way). The nerve and the disgusting audacity - to get engaged in such a public manner is such an insult to the animals that she killed and to the people that she forced to clean up after her. I doubt all the people at the game that night would have cheered and applauded them if they knew who she REALLY was and what she had done.
Ashley & Keith are out CELEBRATING, all while animals from her former "sanctuary" are STILL trying to recover from what she did to them. The humans that she hurt, took advantage of, lied to, broke, used, and disregarded are STILL trying to recover from what she did to them. The sanctuaries that took in the survivors took on a lifetime of care for those animals. Being joyful in such a public manner and showing ZERO remorse is such a bad look for her, yet she doesn't even seem to realize that. She should be grieving, apologizing, and making amends, but it looks like she wholeheartedly disagrees. I think about the animals that she killed and the ones that survived every day. Every single day. Does she?
Perhaps the most insulting and enraging thing about all of this is that she's claiming that she's suffering from "mental distress" or a "mental illness" and that's what caused her to commit her numerous crimes of animal abuse, child endangerment and tax fraud. Does this smiling, happy, celebrating woman look at all distressed to you??
Please continue to share the petition via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, WhatsApp, Patreon, Snapchat, email, text - anything and everything. Ashley does NOT deserve to be celebrating right now when the ramifications of the suffering and pain that she has caused continue to be felt by so many.
