Thank you to everyone that has signed, shared, and/or donated so far!
If anyone is looking for ways to support the (legitimate) sanctuaries that took in the survivors and volunteered their time to clean up the property, I wanted to include their Instagram accounts here. Many of them are currently running fundraisers or do so often, and they all have links in their bios to make one-time donations through various channels or to sign up to be a monthly donor on Patreon (for as little as $1-$3 a month, and every little bit helps!). If you don't have Instagram, please do a Google search for the sanctuary names, as many have websites where they can accept donations.
Animals that were at one time living or rescued from Twist of Fate include horses, pigs, goats, sheep, mini horses, donkeys, bison, cows (including some longhorns and brahmas), tortoises, dogs, cats, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and an emu (sadly there were no birds among the survivors).
Pictured above are Shirley and Pepper, living at JP Farm Animal Sanctuary @jpfarmanimalsanctuary. These sisters were rescued from TOF and are estimated to be about 2.5 years old (Ashley kept little to no records on the animals and none had been seen by a vet in months) and they love snacks and mud baths!
I originally stated that about 15 sanctuaries and rescues stepped in to help, but it was actually a lot more! Here are their account names on Instagram:
@boochaces, @hispees, and @ranchorelaxoteam, @goatsofanarchy, @fawnsfortress, @jpfarmanimalsanctuary, @sven_the_standardbred, @therileyfarmrescue, @thetrollhousesanctuary, @bluemontequinesanctuary, @ezsrescueranch, @blackbird_animal_refuge, @sowagoatsanctuary, @redfeatherfarmnc, @road2refuge_sanctuary_ct, @doe.eyes.animal.rescue, @thismustanglife, @sleepypigfarm, @gratitude_gate, @kinderwayberryfarmandsanctuary, @catskill_animal_sanctuary, @communitycatclub, @draftgratitude, @wlwh_fund, @abbottshillfarm, and @harmonyfarmsanctuaryvt.
Please go and show them some support! You can also see photos and videos of the survivors and their new animal friends.
