In remembrance of Charlie Kirk on September 19th at 5 pm there will be a peaceful protest at the Utah Valley University.

Across our nation, too many individuals have faced political retribution and violence simply because of their personal beliefs. This is not just about one person — it is about the hundreds and thousands of citizens who have suffered intimidation or harm for daring to speak their convictions.

We believe it is time for accountability. Acts of violence or harassment in the name of politics, no matter where they come from, must be condemned. Our government and our communities have a responsibility to ensure that no one lives in fear of expressing their values.

There must also be courage to confront the extremist groups that resort to violence, intimidation, or destruction, specifically ANTIFA. We must not ignore the threat they pose. Whether it is individuals acting out of hatred or organized groups engaging in disruption, there should be transparency, accountability, and consequences.

This is about justice. It is about protecting the principles of free expression, civil discourse, and equal treatment under the law. We cannot allow political violence to become the norm.
