Just when we thought humanity couldn't sink any lower, we heard of the horrific event that stripped life away from Bali, an innocent dog, by the cold hands of a man named Aston Aguilera, residing at [Redacted]. Bali was mercilessly beaten to death with a baseball bat, an act of brutality that has left many hearts heavy with grief and disbelief. Unfortunately, Bali's situation isn't isolated. The Humane Society estimates that nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed each year due to some form of domestic violence.

This personal tale resonates with every individual who believes in compassion and justice for all beings. Our dear friend Bali didn’t deserve this cruel fate. We bear this story written across our hearts and written on our badges, constituting our collective resolve for justice. We demand effective actions to bring Aston Aguilera to account. We urge the local law enforcement and judiciary of Dover Township, PA, and York County PA to thoroughly investigate the series of events leading to Bali's death and ensure it does not go unpunished. 

The time to put an end to animal cruelty is now! Violence against animals is indicative of a deeper societal problem. FBI data suggests animal cruelty is linked to other serious crimes, including interpersonal violence. This incident does not only reflect on the perpetrator's violent tendencies but also demonstrates risks to the larger community.

We implore our fellow citizens of Dover, Dover Township, York County  PA, USA, to take a stand for Bali and every other voiceless creature who has suffered at the hands of humans.
