In the 5th grade, I experienced firsthand the deep and lasting scars that come from being a victim of child abuse within our school systems. I was physically injured by a teacher, who cruelly shoved me into a bench. Instead of receiving justice, I watched in dismay as the school system merely transferred this abusive teacher to another school, allowing them to continue their vile actions towards other innocent children. This is not an isolated incident. Tragically, many children have endured unspeakable harm at the hands of those entrusted to nurture and protect them, only for their suffering to be swept under the rug by those more concerned with protecting the institution than its students.

The recent exposure of school corruption and cover up’s of child abuse in buffalo New York and not protecting children by Richard Hy has further highlighted the appalling conduct of the Buffalo City School System in covering up cases of child abuse of all kinds. These revelations are a stark reminder that our education system is failing its most vulnerable members—our children. No child should ever experience fear in a place meant for growth, learning, and safety. 

It is imperative that we take immediate and decisive action. We call for the establishment of an independent task force made at the highest levels of the American government responsible for conducting thorough investigations in every school system across the entire nation. This task force must be empowered to bring perpetrators and enablers of child abuse to justice, ensuring accountability at every level. This is not merely a request; it is a demand for systemic change so that every child can feel safe and valued in their educational environment.

We refuse to let another child's pain go unnoticed. We refuse to let our education system harbor individuals who exploit their position to harm children or cover up those who do so. Join us in our fight to hold the Buffalo City School System and all the other school systems in the nation accountable and to create a safe and nurturing environment for every student.
