Everyone; Janelle Haverkamp has been removed!. In a rare and sweeping decision, an administrative judge has barred Cooke County’s district judge from presiding over any cases involving the district attorney’s office. The order prevents "District Judge Janelle Haverkamp from hearing felony or civil matters"

Haverkamp is the only district judge in Cooke County, and the ruling impacts roughly 400 pending criminal and civil cases. Visiting Judge Lee Gabriel has been appointed to take over those matters.
