I, and the other women (and possibly men) involved, are deeply grateful for your support.

We are in something of a Wild West moment. Awareness has finally grown, which is a relief people can now better protect themselves and their daughters. At the same time, the formal investigation side of this may not move forward. As we shared in the September update, we really did try.

When the incident first happened to me, I reached out to well over 100 lawyers as a basic first step toward protecting myself. Not one took the case.

When I eventually found a firm from Brooklyn, NY willing to send a letter this past summer, it was ignored and thanks to Statute of Limitations litigation is quite difficult to obtain unless you find a legal team really willing to go to bat for you.   That's more of an hourly gig not contingency.

At this point the next practical step would be locating a solicitor to serve papers; an approach that may now feel more relevant in a British context.

It is hard to avoid the conclusion that we are seeing a collapsing justice system.

Multiple people have come forward, yet the authorities have done nothing. The same pattern occurred with Maria Farmer, who tipped off the FBI  in the 1990s. It took them twenty years, and there are still no public prosecutions except one.

Please continue to share and amplify this petition. It stands for the countless unnamed, anonymous people this man has forced himself onto for his own gratification at their expense. Why should he be above reproach?

The rest of us face consequences and judgment for even the smallest errors, yet he can do something so serious and face no accountability.

At this stage, his remaining free of any consequence no apology, no formal restitution, no due diligence toward the people he has harmed over the decades looks less like an accident and more like a choice. We ask you to keep the pressure on by sharing this petition.
