This petition is spurred by deeply personal and distressing encounters. Georgia State Patrol Officer Donald Bonner III, badge #0789, has been seemingly misusing his position to harass, terrorize, and wrongfully target citizens in the jurisdiction he is assigned to patrol. These actions deeply undermine the public trust that is essential for a fair and efficient law enforcement system. 

Officer Bonner has reportedly been involved in numerous instances where he has fabricated charges against citizens for crimes they have not committed. He has been falsely charging people with crimes they have not committed along with false reasons for stops all together. Such acts are not only unethical but also direct violations of the constitutional rights of the individuals he was sworn in to protect and serve.

Citizens entrust law enforcement officers with significant power with the expectation they uphold the law fairly and impartially. Any deviation from this oath of duty must be carried out under the full scrutiny of an unbiased investigation.
