If not properly regulated and monitored, this is just a greenwashing situation akin to the sewage scandal instead of cleaning our wastewater, the water companies are putting it in the sea to save money. Valancia Waste Management are also in it for profit they now plan to bring 100,000 tonnes of additional commercial waste a year to the Canterbury Shelford site, the worst wet waste will still go into the landfill.
