Demand Immediate Termination of Fabienne Josephs for Workplace Violence and Bullying

The Issue

I am part of a workplace where fear and intimidation have become the daily norm, due to the behavior of an individual named Fabienne Josephs. This ceaseless torment culminated in an undeserved physical assault against Ms.Marie, a fellow colleague. Even more concerning is that this assault took place in front of an underage child, traumatizing them indelibly. Her actions have left a trail of bullied, threatened, and intimidated co-workers, creating a hostile work environment that is both mentally and physically draining.

Not only have her egregious actions been ignored, but instead of immediate termination as per our No Tolerance for workplace violence clause, she has received the disciplinary action of a suspension, rather than being held fully accountable for her disturbing behavior. A report by the Workplace Bullying Institute indicates that 61% of bullies are bosses, easily able to exploit their power over their subordinates, creating a toxic environment for all involved (Workplace Bullying Institute, 2017).

The capability of being able to return to work after yet another disciplinary action has effectively normalized and even rewarded her bullying and violent behavior, a grave injustice to those struggling to feel safe in their own workplace. It sends out a harmful message that opens the door to further incidents of similar nature.

We must demand an immediate intervention to prevent further damage to workplace morale and safety. Therefore, we seek the immediate termination of Fabienne Josephs to restore peace, secure justice for her victims, and send a clear message that workplace violence and bullying will not be tolerated.
