I, like many others, have personally experienced the failure of our current judicial system. My passion for change is fuelled by my own experience, as well as the experiences of countless others who have been denied justice after enduring sexual crimes. It is an unbearable trauma to undergo such horrific acts, and the system's continued failure merely compounds this pain. We must not remain silent.

The data speaks volumes. In London alone, 66 sexual crimes were reported daily in the year 2023/2024, totalling 24,344 reports for that year. And yet, the system is profoundly ineffective, with less than 2% of rape cases resulting in conviction. This alarming statistic is a glaring testament to a system that has failed us all. Violence against women has reached epidemic proportions in our country, and the inadequacies of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in handling these crimes only serve to perpetuate this plague.
