As concerned citizens of the United Kingdom, we are deeply disturbed by the actions of our unelected Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak. His support for what has been internationally recognized as genocide in Palestine, under the guise of standing with Israel, is not representative of our values or beliefs. He has broken international laws and stands complicit in an apartheid state's ethnic cleansing activities - all on behalf of us, the British people.

This issue is personal to many Britons who feel misrepresented by Sunak's actions. We did not elect him into office; thus he does not have a mandate to make such critical decisions that impact our nation's reputation and conscience on our behalf.

The UK prides itself on its democratic principles and respect for human rights. Yet these principles are being violated right before our eyes under Sunak's leadership. According to Amnesty International reports (2021), there have been numerous instances where Israel’s policies constitute apartheid against Palestinians - policies that Sunak openly supports.

We demand immediate elections so we can choose a leader who truly represents us and upholds international law and human rights standards. This petition calls upon Parliament to act swiftly in organizing these elections.
