This is a personal appeal driven by grave injustice. The victims of a horrifying assault, attacked with a baseball bat by two known crystal meth dealers in Lomita, California, were not only denied justice but also faced heartbreaking betrayal at the hands of those meant to uphold the law. The officers of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), who had the duty to protect them from such crimes, turned a blind eye. These officers, steered by LASD Sheriff Luna, acted in collusion with their assailants. They are criminally associated with these drug dealers, local Hispanic gangs and the Mexican Mafia.

Deeper to this shocking misconduct, Sheriff Luna has flagrantly overstepped his position - obstructing justice, conspiring and failing to prosecute Alex Villanueva for his alleged involvement in this attempted murder. The silence surrounding the involvement of LASD Deputy Gang Members and the potentially criminal involvement of Lieutenants Doug Kimura, and Tony Del Pinto with Alex Villanueva and drug trade is deafening. The victims were ignored; the crimes they suffered were swept under the rug.

This is not just an allegation but indeed a serious breach of the employment contract of LASD's officers. Clearly, there has been a flagrant breach of trust - a trust that community relies upon for their safety and justice. The termination of Sheriff Luna is absolutely necessary, not only to uphold justice for these victims but also to maintain the integrity and credibility of our law enforcement system.
