I live and work in Boksburg, and what's happening here is more than a tragedy—it's a crime against nature and humanity. For over a week, a toxic spill near Dr Vosloo Rd, Bartlett AH, has been poisoning our protected wetlands and the effects on our community are severe. Our once thriving wildlife is dying, unbearable odors are hindering local businesses, and the residents, especially our hardworking employees are left struggling to draw a breath.

Heartbreakingly, even our children from nearby schools are exposed to this hazardous situation every day. The spill has been significantly ignored by local authorities, putting at risk the health of our community, local wildlife, and our environment.

This issue not only profoundly affects our environment, but it also directly attacks the health and well-being of each member of our community who are exposed to these harmful chemicals daily. Taking immediate action is more than just protecting our wetlands, it's securing a safer and healthier environment for our children, our workers, and everyone calling Boksburg home.
