The increase for both utilities, which will go into effect on Sept. 1, will add 0.835 cents per kilowatt hour to the electric bills of Eversource customers, and increase what customers of The United Illuminating Co. pay by 0.4592 cents per kilowatt
hour.

This is for 80 million dollars to build an infrastructure for EV charging stations. EV users don't pay any gas tax for our roads. Instead, they get rebates for purchasing and putting in charging stations at home. Learn more about it here

I have absolutely nothing against that. I applaud all EV owners. However, call it what you want. This is SOCIALISM TAX on your electric bill. 

I am talking with several parties to continue this fight but I strongly recommend to flood their phones and email your Representatives. You can find the Reps in your town here.
