SUBJECT: URGENT DEMAND FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CHHIBRAMAU RAILWAY JUNCTION CONNECTING ACHALDA (NCR) AND FARRUKHABAD / MAINPURI (NER).
Respected Sirs,
We, the residents, traders, farmers, and students of Chhibramau (District Kannauj, UP), present this vital infrastructure proposal to the Ministry of Railways.
Despite being one of Central Uttar Pradesh's largest agricultural (Potato) and commercial hubs, Chhibramau remains completely unconnected to the Indian Broad-Gauge Railway Network.
OUR PROPOSED HIGH-IMPACT JUNCTION PLAN:
1. North-South Corridor: Achalda (Delhi-Howrah Main Line, NCR) - Chhibramau - Farrukhabad (NER) (~60 km).
2. East-West Corridor: Mainpuri (NCR) - Chhibramau - Gurshaiganj (NER) (~55 km).
WHY THIS PROJECT IS ESSENTIAL FOR INDIAN RAILWAYS:
1. Strategic Bypass Route: Serves as a vital bypass corridor during heavy traffic congestion or blockages on the Delhi-Kanpur-Howrah Trunk Route.
2. High Freight Revenue: Chhibramau generates lakhs of tonnes of potato produce annually. Direct rail freight access will produce multi-crore annual freight revenue for Indian Railways.
3. Socio-Economic Growth: Provides direct access to higher education, specialized medical care, and regional trade for millions of citizens across Kannauj, Auraiya, Mainpuri, and Farrukhabad.
OUR EXPLICIT DEMANDS:
1. Sanction an immediate Preliminary Engineering-cum-Traffic Survey (PETS) for the proposed Chhibramau Railway Link.
2. Allocate budget funds for feasibility in the Union Railway Budget / Pink Book.
