My heart aches when I imagine the sound of bombs replacing children's laughter in Gaza - because that’s what is taking place. It's become personal to me as we witness children being the victims of this conflict, a situation alarming enough to say ISRAEL is committing a GENOCIDE 

According to UNICEF, in just one week of May 2021, at least 60 children in Gaza were reported killed and another 444 were injured in escalated conflicts. It is disheartening to see how innocent lives are caught between the crossfires of the political conflict. This is not just about casualties of war; these are systemic consequences of a sustained blockage and straight infringements on various human rights.

Our plea is simple: We ask for an immediate ceasefire and a halt to violence, especially that which is inflicted on innocent and defenseless children. The persisting conflict does not justify the extensive suffering of civilians and the destruction of entire families. The international community must play a role in mediating peace and ensuring Israel abides by international humanitarian law.
