We, the players and supporters of Cities: Skylines II, are deeply disappointed with the state of the game and the lack of transparency from Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order. Despite the game's launch being plagued by severe performance issues and missing features, the promised fixes and improvements have been slow, vague, or non-existent.

Since its release, Cities: Skylines II has received sporadic updates every few months, most of which do not address the core technical and gameplay issues that were highlighted by the community. Meanwhile, instead of focusing on substantial game improvements, the developers have prioritized minor content packs, such as community-created building sets, leaving the fundamental problems unaddressed.

We demand:

Clear Communication: A detailed and transparent development roadmap outlining upcoming fixes and improvements, with estimated timelines.
Urgent Bug Fixes & Optimization: Immediate prioritization of performance issues, game-breaking bugs, and missing features that were present in Cities: Skylines I but absent in the sequel.
Accountability & Consumer Rights: A commitment from Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order to deliver a product that meets advertised expectations and improves upon its predecessor.
Compliance with Consumer Protection Laws: Under Finland's consumer protection regulations, companies must not mislead customers about the state of a product. If necessary, we will escalate our concerns to the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) to investigate potential consumer rights violations.

Cities: Skylines II had the potential to be a groundbreaking city-building experience, but the current development approach has left the community frustrated and dissatisfied. We, as paying customers, expect transparency, honesty, and commitment to delivering a fully functional and optimized game.
