We are making progress, let’s keep the momentum going!

At a 2/8/23 SGA meeting, FHSU mgmt said they plan to bring ISI Environmental back to do a follow up inspection, possibly even this week. Will the inspection include their ventilation systems? The very concern from students that prompted the first inspection.
Right now they won’t say the two types of mold (see their statement) which were mentioned as concerning by the inspector in their mold report. Those molds are Aspergillus and Penicillium, and both are capable of producing mycotoxins (toxic substances produced by molds). Aspergillus and Penicillium were found in all of the 20 rooms inspected at low to moderate levels.
Isn’t it incredibly important to forewarn people of the mold found just in case they are experiencing symptoms and have known or unknown allergies, and asthma?
At the SGA meeting, when a student inquired whether or not they were going to share the mold report with students, as well as any future testing results, their Chief Communications Officer said, “We want to make sure he (their attorney) is okay with it, just so that, you know, there's not information in there that shouldn't be sent down.” So much for transparency, right? They have had plenty of time to consult with the attorney as to whether or not the first report completed in Oct can be shared!
In an open records response I received 2/7/23, I had asked for additional reports pertaining to the exact species of Aspergillus found. I said, “If it is not known, is there any intent to find out?”
FHSU’s reply: “No additional reports to provide at this time.”
Some species of Aspergillus can be extremely dangerous. I encourage you to do a little research on these molds.
Shouldn’t management’s greatest priority be the health and safety of their students, rather than protecting themselves?

Thank you to all of you! Your support means the world to me, and so many others who are currently suffering from mold exposure at FHSU or who have in the past.
