Demand Fetlife.com to Prohibit Imagery of Minors and Urge Government Intervention
The Issue
Recently Fetlife.com stood firm in their stance that depictions of children are acceptable on their site. I am deeply disturbed considering Fetlife.com is an 18+ fetish website. This is not just about a website policy; it's about creating safe online spaces for adult communities. No depiction of a minor should be allowed on such platforms where nudity is permitted, as it fosters an inappropriate environment that threatens the safety and integrity of these communities.
Fetlife.com has maintained its stance that cgi, digital, and tattoo imagery - even when based on real minors - are acceptable content. This is not only ethically wrong but also potentially illegal; and if not, it should be. While they may argue that they are circumventing legal restrictions through technicalities, this does not make their actions morally right or socially acceptable.
This issue extends beyond Fetlife.com; it's about how each country's government handles such cases. If websites like Fetlife can exploit legal loopholes to allow such content, then our laws need to change.
According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), in 2019 alone there were over 69 million reports related to child sexual exploitation—an alarming increase from previous years (NCMEC Annual Report). We must demand stricter regulations and enforcement from our communities and government representatives against any form of child exploitation online.
Let us stand together against this blatant disregard for children's rights and safety. Sign this petition now to urge FetLife.com to prohibit any depiction of minors on their platform and call upon our government representatives for stronger legislation against child exploitation online.

The image that prompted this petition was a hyper realistic tattoo depiction of a toddler. You read that correctly. Fetlife is ok with an artistic rendering of a real life, living, breathing child on their site. Instead of boldly taking the stance to forbid images of the such they chose to say it's not a violation of their terms. We will not stand for it. They even wrote it IN BOLD that it is not deemed a violation.

Today we have had a tremendous amount of pushback from people stating that it is, in fact against the terms. Unfortunately that's not true. OFFICIAL FETLIFE TOU ON THE TOPIC - this link was sent to me by a Fetlife Caretaker. "I feel like no matter how much proof I'm providing people are pushing back. Please look at all of the photos I have (and will) provide on this petition. This link states:
"What is not in violation of this guideline?
The following examples are not in violation of this guideline:
- A cartoon or CGI that includes but does not sexualize a minor"

My heart is extremely heavy today. What started with a surge of 500 signatures within 24 hours has now hit a significant roadblock. As we push for change, passionate voices and critiques converge, but my commitment stands unwavering: the protection of children must prevail. I loudly, and firmly advocate against any depiction of minors on adult-only fetish forums. Whether it's cgi imagery, artwork, memes, or tattoos, the ethical line must be drawn and solidified. The goal is not division, but unity and duty as Adults in fetish community.
Some argue for the inclusion of content related to consensual adult role-play scenarios that include littles/middles/bigs, abdl, age play, etc but I emphasize: my concern lies solely with the portrayal of minors.
It's disheartening to find platforms like Fetlife turning a blind eye to the issue, allowing hyper-realistic depictions of minors to circulate without consequence. Such content not only lacks base level human decency but also poses a significant risk within spaces designed for adult exploration.
Furthermore, accusations of transphobia aimed at this petition are rejected with every ounce of my being. A group of people have insisted that this petition will cause a witch hunt against trans people while making very loud and harmful false claims. The goal is clear: to protect all children, including trans youth. Trans rights are human rights. Children's rights are human rights. I stand in solidarity with this community in our shared goal of creating a safe and protective environment for all.
Let this serve as a call to action. Together, let's ensure that fetish sites remain free from any form of child exploitation. Sign this petition and stand with us in safeguarding the innocence of our youth.

There has been an onslaught of individuals trying to force this topic into silence.
This petition is MEGA NOT about:
- Consenting adults doing activities with other consenting adults SUCH AS ddlg, abdl, anr, age play.
- The trans community.
- Drag queens.
- Kink shaming.
- ..........Psy ops? (Seriously??)
- Meme shaming?
- EnTrApMeNt.
THIS PETITION IS SUPER ABOUT:
- NOT HAVING CHILDREN ON A FETISH SITE.
- HOLDING FETLIFE ADMIN/MODERATORS/ CARETAKERS/STAFF MEMBERS ACCOUNTABLE.
- Not allowing tattoo or art depictions of a real life child where people freely share their nude photos, fantasies, and fetishes.
- Not allowing digital art of what would be portrayed as pro-pedophilia materials.
- Not allowing "minor commercial actors" to be posted either. Just because they're a celebrity doesn't mean they don't have rights.
- Just straight up no depictions of children. Period. It's not hard.
Our stance has been clear from day one. We do not want images of minors on adult fetish sites - whether fetlife or elsewhere on similar platforms. If you agree, please share. Send to everyone you know that would protect children from this, because a small army of people on fetlife are definitely trying to stop this in its tracks.

I am deeply troubled to inform you of recent developments regarding our petition against Fetlife.com. Despite our efforts to raise awareness and advocate for change, Fetlife has taken extreme measures to suppress our voices and conceal important discussions.
Fetlife's latest actions include the outright deletion of ANY mention of this extremely critical topic, blocking members from accessing updates from the CEO, and imposing timeouts on members to silence dissent. It is wildly apparent that our advocacy for ethics, safety, and accountability within the community is being actively stifled.
However, we refuse to be silenced. Our determination to protect the vulnerable remains unwavering.
It is disheartening to note that allegations of silencing dissenting voices have plagued Fetlife for several years. John "Baku," the Fetlife CEO, has been accused of systematically suppressing discussions on crucial matters such as ethics, safety, and accountability. This isn't a new tactic for him. He does it any time someone as much as suggests changes be made.
Our resolve has only strengthened. We will continue to fight for transparency, accountability, and the protection of minors, regardless of the obstacles we face.
On 4/12/2024 Members demanded answers from Fetlife CEO John Baku during his post asking for member feedback. He deleted every single comment and then blocked multiple people. These screenshots were provided to this petition by the individuals who posted these comments. The creator of this petition posted this information to X (Formerly Twitter) and was given an extended timeout for "using a sock puppet account" though, again, these images were provided by the members who made these comments.
