The LGBTQIA+ community deserves equal protection under the law—no matter where they live. Yet, recent actions and rhetoric from the Trump administration have threatened to roll back critical federal protections in housing, healthcare, education, and employment.

From attempts to ban gender-affirming care to eroding Title IX protections for transgender students, these actions put lives at risk—especially trans and nonbinary youth. Without consistent federal safeguards, millions are left vulnerable to discrimination, violence, and erasure.

We, the undersigned, call on Congress and the President to:

Reinstate and strengthen federal anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQIA+ individuals
Protect access to gender-affirming healthcare and mental health services
Defend LGBTQIA+ students’ rights in schools, including use of names, pronouns, and facilities aligned with their gender identity
Ensure fair access to housing, jobs, and public services nationwide
Equality shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code. Stand with us in demanding lasting federal protections for LGBTQIA+ rights—because dignity, safety, and freedom should be non-negotiable.
