Thanks to your support, the petition for #Justice4DaisyAlford has become a grassroots force that can no longer be ignored.

Together, we’re exposing how the State of Georgia failed Daisy Alford – an 80-year-old disabled mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – and how easily those in power turn their backs on elderly and disabled victims when no one is watching.

The fight for justice for Daisy Alford is bigger than one family. It’s about protecting every vulnerable Georgian from violence, abuse and neglect in all 159 counties.  We are shining a national spotlight on a hidden crisis in Georgia affecting elderly and disabled residents.

We continue to urge Georgia's leaders to demand a federal investigation:

  • Governor Brian Kemp
  • Attorney General Chris Carr
  • U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock
  • U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff
  • U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14 District)
  • Georgia DHS Commissioner Candice Broce

FBI Atlanta Special Agent in Charge, Paul Brown, can independently investigate now – no referral needed.

NEXT STEPS:

We are not deterred by the silence, inaction or indifference of others. Our resolve is stronger than ever.

We must STOP the NORMALIZATION OF VIOLENCE against the elderly and disabled in the United States.

We’re pushing for Congressional Hearings. To make that happen, we need to spread this message across America. Please share this petition update far and wide. Every signature counts. Every voice matters.

Stay tuned.  The Congressional Hearings Toolkit is coming.  This grassroots movement is gaining unstoppable momentum. #Justice4DaisyAlford
