Demand Fair Treatment and Immediate Release of Amit Gupta

Demand Fair Treatment and Immediate Release of Amit Gupta
The Issue
Our attention has been urgently drawn to the plight of Mr. Amit Gupta, an Indian citizen with years of dedicated service as a Senior Manager at Tech Mahindra in Qatar. Unfortunately, Mr. Gupta has remained in Qatari State Security custody with solitary confinement since January 1, 2025, without any charges officially pressed against him.
This alarming situation puts a spotlight on the vulnerabilities of foreign workers in Qatar who are often helpless when faced with such charges. According to a 2020 report by the International Labor Organization, expatriate workers in Qatar often face legal challenges without adequate support or fair treatment (source: International Labor Organization, 2020), echoing the predicament of Mr. Gupta.
We must rise to defend Mr. Gupta, demand transparency, justice, and his immediate release from unjust detention. Let's stand united and voice out against this atrocious violation of human rights. Sign the petition and demand fair justice for Mr. Gupta.
